HELEN ROBINSON: Plaque unveiling at Hyde Hall

Thank you for booking a place at the event to celebrate the unveiling of a plaque to commemorate the contribution and legacy of Helen Robinson at Hyde Hall. We are very much looking forward to seeing you on Thursday 7th July for an inspiring event taking place in the beautiful setting of RHS Hyde Hall.

On arrival at RHS Hyde Hall, please park in the main car park and make your way to the Welcome Building. The Admissions Team will have a list of those attending the event and if you provide your name, this will enable your entry.

Once through the Welcome Building, please walk to the left and make your way up the hill on the road to the Gardeners Restaurant (on the right-hand side at the top of the hill) where tea and coffee will be served from 4.30pm. The event will be signposted at the top of the hill. It is a 5-minute walk from the Welcome building to the Gardeners Restaurant.

A member of the EGT Events team will meet you in the Gardeners Restaurant.

Event outline (all timings are approximate)

  • 4.30pm onwards – Tea and coffee will be available in the Gardeners Restaurant

  • 5.15 – Guests and dignitaries walk across the Courtyard from the Gardeners Rest to the front of the Farmhouse (box garden in front of the pond) for the unveiling

  • 5.30 Speeches, Unveiling of the Plaque and Toast

Please note:

  • The unveiling will be outside so please come dressed accordingly and prepared with umbrellas in case of rain.

  • The gardens are open for the evening so please feel free to enjoy them in what we hope will be beautiful weather!

  • We will be taking some photos at the event so if you do not wish to be included, please just let one of us know.
